Come along to Gordale Garden Centre on the South Wirral [SAT NAV: CH64 8TF] to see the annual Exhibition Wildlife Art. It will feature the work of many of the country's finest wildlife artists and Andrew will be exhibiting a dozen paintings including this of Harvest Mice. The exhibition runs from 29th - 31st July 2022 (Fri & Sat: 9.30-6.00, Sun: 10.30-5.00) and admission is free. Andrew was delighted this month to receive two awards at the Royal Miniaturists Society's 125th Exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London. Out of his entry of eight paintings, two won awards. His painting of Harvest Mice received the "Anthony Lester Art Critic Award" and his painting of Indian Runner Ducks, the prestigious "HRH Prince of Wales Award for Outstanding Miniature Painting", chosen by the Prince himself.
Visit the online Exhibition of Wildlife Art at www.ewa-uk.com to see some of Andrew's recent paintings. The exhibition goes live on 23rd July 2020 and, as well as Andrew's work, will feature many of the country's other leading wildlife artists. You will be able to browse and purchase a selection of artworks (including this painting of a Wood Mouse by Andrew) from the comfort of your own home.
Hoping you are all coping well in these strange times. One of the events that Andrew has always participated in has unfortunately had to be cancelled because of 'lockdown'. However, the Exhibition of Wildlife Art (usually held at the Goredale Garden Centre on the Wirral), will still be happening in July but in an online form only. As people find themselves connecting more with nature now than ever before, what better time to treat yourself to one of Andrew's painting from the comfort and safety of your own home? When the exhibition opens you will be able to browse and purchase a selection of recent paintings (including this of Tree Sparrows) as well as the work of some of the country's other leading wildlife artists.
The exhibition will go live on 23rd July 2020 and can be found at www.ewa-uk.com.
Andrew will be among many artists exhibiting work in Helmsley, North Yorkshire at the Look Gallery's "Artist's Studio Spring Clean Sale".
For those of you looking out for the date of Andrew Hutchinson’s annual art show (usually held at Sunnyfield House, Guisborough at this time of year) we are sorry to say that, owing to the pressure of commercial work, we are unable to put together an exhibition this year. This will be the first time in 35 years that we have not done the November show - we hope to be back next year as usual.
If you want to see the work of some of Britain's best wildlife artists, get yourself along to Goredale Garden Centre, Chester High Road (A540), Burton, South Wirral, CH64 8TF this weekend.

Andrew's miniature paintings are once again on show at The Mall Galleries in London (Sat Nav: SW1Y 5AH) as the members Royal Miniature Society gather to host their annual exhibition and awards. Andrew has six paintings on show, two of which (see below) have scooped awards. If you liked the set of stamps that Andrew produced for the Jersey Post this year to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Jersey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (see the June 2018 blog), then there is a chance to see some of the original artworks at Andrew's one-day exhibition held in North Yorkshire this November. The venue is Sunnyfield House, Westgate, Guisborough TS14 6BA on Saturday 17th November (10.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m.) and entry if free.
In addition to the stamp artwork (including the young tawny owl [shown above]) there will be original paintings (including this handsome Aplomado falcon [shown right]), limited edition prints and cards on sale. It is also a chance to come along and have a chat with the artist himself.
