Over the weekend of the 27th - 29th July there will be an opportunity to see (and purchase) ten of Andrew's original paintings as he takes part in a three-day exhibition alongside many of the country's leading wildlife artists. Among the artworks Andrew will have on show is this painting of a weasel. The show is held at the light and spacious gallery space in Goredale Garden Centre, Chester High Road (A540), Burton, South Wirral, CH64 8TF and is open from 9.30am - 6.00pm on Friday and Saturday, 11.00am - 5.00pm on Sunday. To celebrate 150 years of the Jersey Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Andrew has been commissioned by the Jersey Post to produce a set of postage stamps.
Each stamp represents a different aspect of the society's invaluable work as well as celebrating the work of their volunteer helpers. Published on the 25th May, they will be available for 2 years and can be purchased direct from: https://www.jerseystamps.com/en/Shop/Detail?c=1808&r=%2F ![]() Andrew recently scooped three awards at the annual exhibition of The Hilliard Society of Miniaturists including the prestigious "Best in Show". His painting of a red squirrel (just 128mm x 94mm) took all three prizes - a great honour considering the excellent standard of the other entires. Andrew's paintings, alongside all the other entries, can be seen (and purchased) in an online gallery at: http://www.hilliardsociety.org/2018exhibition.html We'd like to apologise to anyone hoping to see Andrew's exhibition starting this weekend at RSPB Saltholme on Teesside. Unfortunately the bad weather has made it difficult to get over the moors to set it up - we hope to remedy this early next week. In the meantime why not check out the new limited edition prints on our gallery page - among them this striking Roe Deer Buck.
From 3rd March there will be an opportunity to see an exhibition of Andrew's work on Teesside at the RSPB's Saltholme reserve (SATNAV: TS2 1TU). This will continue throughout March and April and will feature a mixture of original paintings and limited edition prints reflecting the wildlife of the reserve, including this new print of a barn owl called "Across the Marishes" (above).
